We are looking for a dedicated, safety-conscious Gas Cylinder Delivery Driver to join our team in Leduc. This is a critical role that serves as the face of our company, ensuring our clients get the products they need to keep their operations running.

As a Delivery Driver, you aren’t just moving products—you’re managing a sophisticated mobile inventory of compressed and liquid gases. You will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of dangerous goods across the Edmonton and Nisku areas, with occasional long-haul deliveries throughout Alberta. When you aren't behind the wheel, you’ll be an integral part of our warehouse operations, helping to pick and prep orders.
Key Responsibilities
Safe Transportation: Operate a tandem-axle truck loaded with high-pressure compressed gas cylinders and cryogenic liquid gas in strict accordance with provincial regulations.
Precision Delivery: Navigate urban and industrial routes (primarily Edmonton/Nisku) to provide timely, door-to-door service to our diverse customer base.
Load Management: Securely load and unload cylinders, ensuring all products are properly labeled and documented according to TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) standards.
Customer Excellence: Act as a front-line brand ambassador by resolving delivery issues on-site and providing professional service to meet client needs.
Warehouse Support: Assist the team in the yard and warehouse by picking, staging, and organizing orders for the next day’s routes.
What You Bring to the Team
Licensing: A valid Class 3 (or higher) Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
Expertise: Previous experience operating tandem trucks and a firm understanding of Dangerous Goods handling.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of moving, rolling, and securing heavy gas cylinders throughout the day.
Reliability: A "safety-first" mindset and the ability to work independently while representing the client professionally.
Geography: Strong knowledge of the Leduc, Nisku, and Greater Edmonton road networks.
Advantages
Wage: $25-$30 per hour based on experience
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to load and unload your truck with cylinders
- Assist in picking cylinders for the deliveries
- Use a handheld electronic scanner to document all cylinder activity
- Load skids by hand with cylinders at the work site and customer sites
- Create and maintain accurate manifests, ensure all vehicle and shipping documents are up to date
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships.
- Identify and monitor customers’ needs.
- Drive a tandem truck, complete accurate maintenance records, perform daily checks
- Ensure proper load securement, adhere to Transport Canada’s policies
- Ensure all safety policies are strictly adhered to
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as required
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum Class 3 Drivers license with air brakes
- Valid forklift license
- Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract, valid within 30 days
- Experience with handling Dangerous Goods
- Ability to move / roll cylinders weighing 170lbs, and lift boxes weighing 60lbs
- Provide a full CV(a detailed resumé) showing previous 3 years employment
