Shift - someone who is flexible and can work days, 7:30am to 4pm, Afternoon 3:50pm to 11:50 and nights 11:40pm to 7:40pm as needed.

Suitable for a hard working high school graduate who enjoyed and did well in science classes!
This role is 20% lab work and then working in an automotive manufacturing environment, not afraid to get dirty! Must be able to move large items and able to lift and move up to 20-50lbs.
Under the supervision of the Process Manager, lab tech/maintenance is responsible for performing and sampling, tests and calculations, compiles data and summarizes test results into test reports and checklists / logs
Cheeking pumps, sampling production items and testing then for lab. Checking filter chambers
Please note - this is not pharma related and you would not be working in a lab. Most of the work would be in plant.

Responsibilities
1 Demonstrate a commitment to the core values and principles of

4. Attend and participate in all required training such as but not limited

6. Basic understanding of plating finishes and codes and effect of
chemistries on metal finishes
7. Report Spills
8. Report damaged to equipment or warehouse.
9. Execute work orders as given
10. Perform analysis of raw material, in-process and finished products,
de-ionized, and soft water and stability samples using analytical
instruments and established analytical procedures and techniques
as scheduled and by set deadlines.
11. Examine the sample provided and write/advise any discrepancy on
test and field reports
12. Performs tests and calculations, compiles data and summarizes
test results into test reports and checklists / logs. Verifies
calculations are consistent with results of measurements.
Determines whether product passes or fails subject to review by
QC Supervisor.
13. Interpret and document all test results, calculations and
observations and completes report summaries, as per analytical
and techniques.
14. Work as an effective team member to meet departmental goals,
sharing knowledge with team members.
15. Perform general maintenance and calibration of laboratory
equipment, according to the Lab’s established calibration program.
16. Maintain compliance to all health and safety standards and
regulatory requirements including but not limited to Lock-out/Tag-
out, Confined Space entry, use and care of fall arrest equipment,
handling/storage of drums and spill management.
17. Responsible and accountable for compliance with all aspects of the
Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as Health and
Safety policies.
18. Provides technical troubleshooting support or training to other
team members where appropriate.
19. Initiate changes for test procedures and testing specifications.
20. Perform, record, and manage QC results for incoming raw
materials and finished goods.
21. Keep instruments running at their optimum performance through
proactive preventive maintenance
22. Use Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety Glasses or Prescription Glasses (shatter proof)
- Safety boots
- Safety vest
- Safety ear plugs

• Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and/or on different rotating shifts as required.
• Ability to consistently execute routine, yet detailed preparations.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while satisfying personal responsibilities.
• Physical:
o Manual dexterity.
o Ability to lift and move 15kg to shoulder level for short intervals throughout a work day.
