• Operate effectively within a spray booth to paint large-scale commercial items including truck boxes, dump trailers, and flatbeds
• Perform comprehensive washing and sandblasting to prepare metal surfaces for coating and finishing
• Select the appropriate industrial paint and meticulously mix paints according to pre-determined formulas and specifications
• Operate heavy-duty equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, or otherwise prepare stationary items for the application of paint
• Utilize hand-held spray guns to accurately spray paint or coat items, ensuring an even and durable finish
• Execute painting on smaller components and apply precise touch-ups to guarantee product perfection
• Clean, inspect, and maintain all painting and coating machinery, ventilation systems, compressed air tools, and personal protective equipment
• Mark, record, and promptly report any product defects or inconsistencies to the quality assurance team
• Clean and perform thorough preparation of the work-site before and after shifts to maintain efficiency
• Complete all required job control documents, inventory logs, and related administrative reports such as timecards
