Industrial Painter

The position offers a premium starting wage of $35.00 per hour with a stable daytime schedule running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime is a regular necessity to support production demands, offering excellent earning potential.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing high-quality coatings for fabricated, welded parts, assemblies, and prototype components. Key duties include selecting and mixing top coatings and advanced industrial paints according to defined formulas and precise viscosity requirements. You will perform final surface paint preparation and operate air-assisted spray guns and pressure pots for an all-spray application, with absolutely no brush, roller, or airless spray methods utilized. Additionally, you will order weekly shop consumables, chemicals, and paint supplies, perform full teardowns and maintenance on painting and ventilation equipment, and periodically mentor a warehouse helper who assists with masking, prepping, and vinyl unwrapping.

Qualifications
Candidates must possess comprehensive experience in technical spray painting, showing a strong cross-section of skills between autobody finishing and industrial equipment coating. Expertise with air-assisted spray equipment is mandatory, while experience with airless spray systems is not a fit for this environment. You must have proven success applying advanced industrial coatings to steel surfaces without the need for two-tone execution. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, team-oriented professional with a strong work history who can work independently after a few months of guidance. Professional reference checks will be completed prior to hire, and while standard background and drug screenings are not required, adherence to company safety and structural policies is essential.
