Role and Responsibilities:
• Ability to set-up and operate a variety of industrial sewing machines, including but not limited to: single and double-needing sewing machines
• Candidate needs to be self-directed and able to work independently while functioning as a team member and contributing to company goals.
• Takes direction well

Additional Responsibilities:
• Cut, shape and trim materials
• Read work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations and quantities to cut
• Follow layout points

Qualifications
The ideal candidate preferably:
• has some sewing experience if you sew at home using a sewing machine
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to assist in Cutting and Finishing as needed
• Ability to use basic hand tools when working in Cutting and Finishing
• Candidate needs to be self-directed and able to work independently while functioning as a team member and contributing to company goals.
• Takes direction well
