A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you are the guardian of the organization's IT infrastructure, spanning servers, desktops, and networks across on-premises, data center, and cloud environments. Your day will involve a blend of Level 2/3 technical support, proactive vulnerability management, and security triage. You will work closely with the IT Director to design secure network architectures, monitor for breaches, and implement tools to prevent and detect threats.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Secure the Perimeter: Manage and optimize Meraki network stacks, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure seamless and secure connectivity.
- Endpoint Defense: Utilize CrowdStrike and Intune to automate infrastructure management, enforce hardening standards, and remediate anomalies.
- Identity Management: Act as the lead on identity and access management within Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
- Vulnerability Remediation: Identify system configuration issues and coordinate with administrators to patch and secure the environment.
- Incident Response: Monitor system logs and advise management on security incidents, maintaining a vigilant stance against potential breaches.
- Field Support: Provide hands-on support and training for staff across approximately 40 sites, ensuring hardware compliance and data integrity.

Responsibilities
- Operations & Support: Provide expert Level 2/3 support for infrastructure issues and manage the lifecycle of Service Desk tickets.
- System Hardening: Develop and implement best practices for securing IT operations, including configuration guidelines and automated policies.
- Asset Management: Create and maintain a detailed CMDB inventory of all network, server, and mobile components.
- Compliance & Reporting: Generate weekly KPI reports on cybersecurity metrics and ensure all solutions meet regulatory and data integrity standards.
- Training: Develop documentation and lead group or one-on-one training sessions for staff on security software and mobile platforms.
Qualifications
Technical Must-Haves:
- Network Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Meraki solutions.
- Security & MDM: Proficiency with CrowdStrike and Microsoft Intune.
- Identity: Strong experience with Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Education: Diploma or degree in Information Technology from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of IT experience with a dedicated focus on Information Security.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (travel to various sites is required).
Nice to Have:
- Certifications: CISSP (achieved or in progress) and/or ITIL Foundations.
- Sector Experience: Background in Healthcare or community home health services.
- Advanced Security: Deep experience in Vulnerability Management and system "hardening" protocols.
