The role of the Inside Account Manager is central to our client's customer care strategy in Mississauga. In this highly collaborative position, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of established customer accounts, serving as their primary point of contact, and driving growth within these accounts. Unlike typical cold-calling environments, this role is deeply rooted in relationship building, customer care, and administrative support for field sales representatives. You will work closely with four outside sales professionals to streamline customer interactions, coordinate orders, and ensure seamless service delivery.
As an Inside Account Manager, you will leverage your expertise in customer care to identify opportunities for selling add-on products and introducing new solutions to your existing client base. Responsibilities
• Maintain consistent daily communication with assigned customer accounts to foster strong relationships and drive satisfaction.

• Retrieve, verify, and update customer profile information utilizing internal systems and CRM software.
• Drive profitable pricing strategies by reviewing historical customer transactions and comparing similar items.
• Coordinate and support the preparation of detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) responses where feasible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including credit, receivables, operations, and inventory management.
• Conduct remote training and online demonstrations for customers when introducing new electronic marketing tools.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in account management, customer care, inside sales, or business support.
• Experience working with CRM databases and general proficiency in office software.
• Ability to work from the Mississauga office two days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
• Comfort with prolonged periods of sitting and computer or telephone use in an office setting.
• Availability to travel up to 10% for customer visits or team meetings if required.
• Exceptional customer care and relationship management skills with a strong client-focused approach.
