The Inside Service Sales Representative will be customer-oriented, a team player with a positive attitude interacting with customers, team members, and industry peers. Responsibilities
The Inside Service Sales Representative will be responsible for both sales and business development as well as sourcing and operations:
1) Sales & Business Development (90%)
- Source new prospects and maintain existing accounts to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Proactively follow up on leads from field activity and service reports and manage status systems.
- Maintain and renew Preventative Maintenance Agreements; identify upsell opportunities for parts and service upgrades.
- Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, conducting site visits/walkthroughs and attending trade shows as needed.
- Participate in WIP meetings and provide accurate sales forecasting.
2) Sourcing & Operations (10%)
- Identify cost-effective suppliers and manage spare parts pricing and availability.
- Provide coverage for the sales team and assist with technical documentation and ERP (SAP) data entry.
Qualifications
Technical Background:
- Understanding of repair techniques for mechanical/electrical systems (vacuum/compressors or medical gas systems preferred).
- 2+ years in mechanical/electrical service support or a similar industrial setting.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (SAP experience is a major asset)
- Post-secondary in a technical or business field is an asset.
Skills & Abilities:
- Superior verbal and written skills. bilingual (English/French) is a significant asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to identify solutions for complex customer needs.
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
