Responsibilities
Counter & Customer Service: Assist walk-in commercial trade clients, take incoming customer calls, and provide product suggestions.
Outbound Client Support: Conduct proactive outbound check-ins with existing client accounts and consistently follow up on submitted quotes.
Order Processing: Prepare accurate quotes, enter sales orders, and see transactions through from entry to final pickup or shipment.
Warehouse & Logistics: Handle hands-on warehouse duties including order picking, staging, receiving inventory, and cycle counts.
Account Relationships: Build stable, long-term relationships with local contractors, locksmiths, and commercial buyers.
Qualifications
Background: Experience in hardware retail, locksmithing, mechanical products, building materials, or wholesale distribution is a major asset. Candidates from home improvement/hardware retail (e.g., Home Depot, RONA, trade counters) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Versatility: Comfortable working on your feet, picking product in a small warehouse, and transitioning between counter service and desk administration.
Computer Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and adapting to proprietary inventory systems.
Soft Skills: Outstanding customer service mindset, clear phone demeanor, patience, and a practical, team-first attitude.
