Responsibilities
• Proactively execute outbound sales prospecting via scheduled phone calls, targeted emails, and digital outreach channels to generate new B2B leads.
• Independently guide prospective clients through the full sales cycle, from first contact to finalized purchase orders and implementation.
• Apply consultative solution-selling techniques to identify client operational challenges and present effective material handling and equipment options.
• Develop and execute strategic territory outreach plans to target competitive account users and non-users throughout Mississauga and the GTA.
• Build and nurture long-term professional relationships with existing corporate accounts through consistent follow-ups and account management.
• Actively prospect within existing client accounts to cultivate demand for new equipment, rebuilt machinery, storage racking, equipment rentals, and maintenance service agreements.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives on complex, multi-product opportunities, involving specialized technical support when necessary.
• Prepare accurate technical quotations and proposals by evaluating client application requirements, researching specs, and coordinating supplier pricing.
• Process internal order paperwork, specification forms, and documentation to ensure smooth handoff to operations and fulfillment teams.
• Monitor and manage individual sales pipelines, metrics, and monthly/annual revenue forecasts in CRM software to consistently hit quota goals.
• Participate in continuous sales training programs, departmental marketing campaigns, and customer experience improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of successful experience in B2B inside sales, sales development, business development, or account management focusing on outbound lead generation.
• Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics.
• Previous sales experience within industrial equipment, material handling, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain solutions is strongly preferred.
• Proven B2B hunting and prospecting capabilities with strong expertise in outbound lead generation and cold calling.
• Skilled in consultative solution selling, needs discovery, handling objections, and closing complex commercial deals.
