In this role, you will not just be taking orders—you will act as a vital technical resource, providing comprehensive engineering consultation and collaboration directly to our clients. You will manage an assigned portfolio of customers, working closely with Outside Sales Representatives and reporting directly to the Branch Manager to drive regional growth.
Commute Requirement: Candidates must currently reside within the Sudbury region (maximum 1-hour driving distance from the Sudbury office).
Base Salary:
$50,000 – $70,000 (Based on experience)

Responsibilities
Technical Consultation: Autonomously assess customer needs and provide first-class technical and commercial support.
Quoting & Estimation: Prepare accurate technical quotations for conventional products and rigorously follow up on quotes delegated by Outside Sales Reps.
Account Management: Serve as the primary internal contact for an assigned clientele, building deep relationships to understand their unique industrial needs.
Procurement Support: Source and generate purchase orders for non-stock conventional products or special supplier-priced items.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and pipeline data utilizing Zoho CRM.
Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date on our expanding portfolio of industrial automation products and services.
Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of experience is preferred (junior candidates are welcome to apply). Minimum 2 years in a similar industrial/sales environment is an asset.
Technical Savvy: Experience in sales, instrument selection, or industrial automation applications.
Software: Proficiency with Zoho CRM (or a similar CRM system) and the Microsoft Office suite.
Soft Skills: High level of autonomy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a variable workload.
Communication: Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong desire to serve customers.
Educational Background:
College Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation Technician programs
Alternatively: College degree in Building Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
