Responsibilities
• Act as the primary contact and escalation point for insurer clients regarding relationship development, project road mapping, contract management, and invoicing.
• Support the implementation and launch of advanced insurance technology solutions for specific client projects through weekly progress meetings and internal technical discussions.
• Organize and lead periodic alignment meetings with internal and client teams to discuss project progress, system configurations, and emergent issues.
• Help Canadian insurance clients thoroughly understand the technical options, configurations, and possibilities available within the complex software platform.
• Collaborate closely with the legal team to review, refine, and negotiate client contract terms effectively.
• Partner with the accounts and finance teams to streamline client invoicing, billing cycles, and payment processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional team meetings among local and global colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of customer care services.
• Report directly to the Insurer Relations Manager, contributing actively to the expansion and ongoing development of processes within this vertical.
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience within the insurance industry, with a strong focus on client management or software account management.
• University degree in a related business field or a college diploma specializing specifically in insurance studies.
• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is considered a strong asset for this role.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel 4 to 6 times a year throughout Canada to meet with key insurance stakeholders.
• Must be currently residing within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to facilitate regional coverage.
• Exceptional client relationship management skills with a proven track record of maintaining strong, long-term B2B relationships.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to bring diverse teams together and balance competing priorities.
• Proven capability in contract negotiation, contract management, and interpreting service level agreements.
