Responsibilities
Requirements Management: Lead elicitation sessions to gather, document, and validate Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional/Non-Functional Requirements (FRD/NFR), and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
IAM & Authentication Analysis: Analyze complex login use cases, authentication workflows, SSO/MFA processes, and federation patterns to perform gap analyses between current and future states.
Process Modeling: Produce detailed current-state and future-state process maps, IAM sequence diagrams, and data flow diagrams using tools like Visio.
Agile Participation: Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, ensuring requirements are prioritized and ready for development.
User-Centric Design: Collaborate closely with UX and service designers to translate wireframes and user needs into technical business requirements.
Testing & Validation: Support the QA phase by reviewing test plans, validating requirements coverage, and contributing to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Governance & Reporting: Maintain RAID logs and provide weekly status reports to project leadership, translating complex technical IAM concepts into actionable business language.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within large, complex enterprise environments.
Tooling Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and process modeling software (e.g., Visio).
Technical Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), digital identity, and authentication systems (SSO, MFA, Identity Lifecycle).
Methodologies: Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile delivery frameworks.
Modeling Skills: Proven ability to create high-quality workflow models, system interaction diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to facilitate workshops across multi-disciplinary teams (Cybersecurity, IT, and Business).
Education: Post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Public Sector Asset: Previous experience with government or public-sector projects and multi-stakeholder governance is a significant plus.
