Monitor project design, implementation, and operational startup against established goals, milestones, and deliverables
Prepare and coordinate formal documentation and status reports, including executive briefings
Develop and manage detailed project plans, including:
Milestone identification
Risk management
Progress tracking
Control and reporting procedures
Engage with stakeholders and other project managers to resolve issues and maintain alignment with project objectives
Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to enhance future project delivery
Contribute to strategic and business planning initiatives, including organizational vision and mission development
Ensure compliance with approved international standards and support the Project Approval Process (PAP) throughout all stages
Participate in research and development initiatives, including:
Operational Research
Technology Demonstration Programs
Advanced Research Programs
Technology Advisory Groups
Qualifications
6-8 years experience as a Project Manager
Experience at a supervisory level working in a project environment related to equipment acquisition for the Government of Canada (GoC).
Experience with statement of operational requirements (SOR) for a capital equipment acquisition project for the GoC
Certification(s)/Certificate(s) or degrees from a recognized Canadian university):
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Public Administration (MPA)
