Our client is looking for an Intermediate Project Manager/Leader for a 5 month contract in Toronto.
This is an onsite role.
Advantages
• Working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive

Responsibilities
• Manage the financial administration of existing contracts.
• Manage the execution of Service Requests for new services from vendors.
• Manage the processing of project & contract change requests, including updating and maintaining pricing sheets, service catalogues etc.
• Manage the overall change process including obtaining vendor quotations and facilitating the required approvals.
• Support project managers in the execution of procurements and change orders with vendors.
• Prepare briefing notes, conduct vendor meetings and liaison with other procurement and legal departments as per the need.
• As needed, independently manage, and execute complete procurements life cycle.
Qualifications
MUST HAVES:
• Financial Skills: Demonstrated experience in financial management of projects and tools involving various financial areas: financial analysis on performance, trends analysis, forecasts and risks. Expert level experience with financial management tools and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Vendor, Procurement, and Contract Management: Experience supporting the analysis and execution of vendor contract deliverables, including change management (RFCs, Change Orders, Service Requests), including writing content and providing advice/interpretations on contract sections.
• Project Management Skills: Experience managing large projects with significant volatility and multiple stakeholders (vendors, stakeholders, and peer groups across ministries) with competing priorities.
• Communication and Relationship Management: Interacting directly with vendor, clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction. Facilitating solutions to issues identified by stakeholders to arrive to an amicable solution.
