Our client is looking for an Intermediate Project Manager/Leader for a 15 month contract in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role.

From January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week fully
Responsibilities
• Provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives. Ensures project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focProvide both Business and IT Project Leadership/Management as required
• Support Shared Utility Service (SUS) in all strategic planning associated with the project and its impact on the partner Stakeholders, political environment, technical support environment, etc. This includes assisting in preparing communications, conducting presentations, providing analysis and consulting advice.
• Define, plan, and monitor Cloud Acceleration and API Marketplace initiative and multiple sub-projects under these initiative including multiple infrastructure and application sub-projects
• Oversee systems integration within the SUS Platform and with the external partners
• Assist / Facilitate / Responsible for development of Integrated Project Plan
• Ensure that all required activities have been identified and assigned to sub project leads including new initiatives or changes to the initiatives, processes, procedures, or functions
• Obtain required sign off on all major project-related milestones
• Manage business and IT project-related risks
• Identify and rectify project schedule slippages, and/or adjust project plan with stakeholders and partners
• Monitor project and program timelines and deliverables, and communicate the status to designated management / stakeholders on a regular basis
• Resolution of escalated project / Program related issues
• Monitor the development of architecture deliverables
Qualifications
Must Have:
• Experience working with the delivery of complex Cloud technology projects
• Experience managing enterprise solutions with technologies that include IBM Portal, WebSphere, DataPower, OpenShift, Cloud Automation Manager, Ansible and Oracle Database.
• 10+ years experience in technology project management, at least 5+ years must include projects that required large technology procurements.
• Demonstrated experience using the agile / scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders.
• IT Service Management experience with ITIL Foundations certification
