Responsibilities
The Project Manager/Leader will be responsible for:
- Providing expert project management leadership, including the management of Stakeholders, risks, changes, issues, time, scope, and resources.
- Validating financial forecasts, cost assumptions, and providing ongoing reconciliation of resources and project expenditures, particularly for multi-million dollar budgets.
- Formulating and determining business and technical requirements, defining business problems, objectives, product visions, goals, and outcomes.
- Utilizing and managing various software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, and overseeing the underlying technologies for end-to-end electronic solution delivery.
- Applying hands-on experience with Azure Cloud setup and operations, specifically leveraging Azure Cloud Data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Unity Catalogue, SQL Warehouse), and integrating solutions using AI, LLM, and related technologies.
- Directing, collaborating with, and informing policy, IT, legal, communication, and privacy teams.
- Creating essential project documentation, including business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, Threat Impact Assessments, and Requests for Service/Information.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 6+ years of Integrated Enterprise project management experience across business and I&IT teams.
- Demonstrated experience with managing multi-year multi-million dollar budget projects.
- Expertise with Azure Cloud Data services, including Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Unity Catalogue, and SQL Warehouse.
- Experience with AI, LLM, and related technologies.
- Experience utilizing, managing, and understanding various software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.
- Experience creating privacy, financial, communication, and IT documentation, including Business Cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Threat Impact Assessments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Experience managing project life cycles and backlogs using collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
- Experience with I&IT technology site deployment/rollout.
- Experience leading QA activities and processes.
- Knowledge of government network and desktop infrastructure procurement and support models.
- Experience with Public Sector ITIL processes (incident management, release management).
