Responsibilities
Project Execution & Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, integrated project plans, scope baselines, and deliverables using Agile and Kanban frameworks.
Team & Vendor Leadership: Provide leadership to project teams and third-party vendors, assigning tasks, setting performance expectations, and managing resource allocations.
Budgeting & Fiscal Control: Oversee project budgets, tracking actual costs against forecasts, monitoring variances, and executing financial reconciliation reporting.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and operational bottlenecks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues to steering committees and executive leadership.
Governance & Stakeholder Management: Establish steering committees, facilitate stakeholder alignment across business, IT, finance, procurement, and legal teams, and ensure adherence to gating processes.
IT Transition & Change Support: Coordinate technology infrastructure transitions, software/hardware acquisitions, and change management strategies to ensure seamless system adoption.
Project Documentation: Author foundational project management artifacts, including Project Charters, Terms of Reference, status reports, and executive decision briefs.
Qualifications
Enterprise Platform Management: Hands-on experience managing project lifecycles involving Oracle Service Cloud or similar enterprise CRM/service platforms (Strictly Required).
Project Leadership & Vendor Oversight: Proven track record providing project leadership to multidisciplinary teams and external service providers/vendors across all project phases (Strictly Required).
Risk Management & Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in project monitoring, proactive risk identification, troubleshooting, and issue resolution (Strictly Required).
Methodology Expertise: Strong proficiency in I&IT project management best practices and adherence to standard delivery methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) (Strictly Required).
Cross-Functional Governance: Proven ability to manage project schedules, track budgets, and facilitate governance across business, IT, finance, legal, and procurement stakeholders (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Alignment with PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines or PMP certification.
Prior project management experience within a public sector or broader public sector environment.
Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA / AODA) and enterprise architecture review processes.
