Responsibilities
Design and develop complex ServiceNow workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, and script includes to enhance project management and gating governance frameworks.
Configure, customize, and optimize ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) components, including financial management, resource management, investment funding, and portfolio planning.
Build automated processes, scheduled jobs, and notifications using Flow Designer while managing certificate inventory flows.
Create real-time dashboards, performance analytics, and custom dataset reports to improve visibility and support strategic leadership decisions.
Analyze existing business intake and governance processes, conduct gap analyses, and recommend system optimization strategies following ServiceNow development best practices.
Implement embedded compliance controls, automated audit tracking, and security logging within active workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate testing activities, and create detailed developer-level documentation, user guides, and deployment checklists.
Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and post-deployment operational support to ensure application reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
Mandatory Dual Certifications: Must hold BOTH active certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (Candidates must provide the email address associated with their certifications for verification) (Strictly Required).
ServiceNow SPM Seniority: 5+ years of hands-on technical development experience with ServiceNow SPM platforms (Strictly Required).
Core Scripting Proficiency: Deep technical skill writing custom JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, GlideRecord queries, and Script Includes (Strictly Required).
Automation & Integration Tools: Proven experience building workflows using Flow Designer, Scheduled Jobs, Notifications, and managing certificate inventory flows (Strictly Required).
Project Management Integration: Strong understanding of the Project Management lifecycle and its technical integration with ServiceNow SPM modules (Strictly Required).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Assets:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management.
Hands-on experience with Performance Analytics Advanced, Predictive Intelligence, or Financial Planning modules.
