Responsibilities
Web Development & Customization: Build, customize, and maintain enterprise WordPress websites, custom templates, and web graphics using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, NodeJS, or Angular).
UX/UI Specification Translation: Translate wireframes, mockups, and UI design specifications into functional, responsive web components optimized across multiple screen sizes and devices.
Content Management & Migration: Plan and execute content migrations from legacy platforms, develop site information architectures, map content models, and configure metadata structures.
Accessibility Compliance: Conduct accessibility testing and ensure all digital content, web components, and media conform strictly to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and regional accessibility legislation.
Plugin & Search Integration: Research, configure, and integrate third-party WordPress plugins, open-source tools, and Lucene-based search engines (Solr or Elasticsearch).
Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage web solutions within cloud environments (such as Azure Web Services, WordPress as a Service) and open-source hosting stacks (LAMP, Linux, Apache).
Technical Documentation & Training: Author custom web style guides, system maintenance processes, and operational runbooks while training internal technical staff and content editors.
Qualifications
Core Web Development Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in the analysis, development, design, testing, and implementation of enterprise websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS, React, Vue, or Angular) (Strictly Required).
Open-Source & CMS Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with open-source technologies, including Linux, WordPress, WordPress plugins, Drupal, Git, Apache, and Lucene-based search engines (Solr or Elasticsearch) (Strictly Required).
Interface Design & Usability Testing: Demonstrated experience in user interface design, web component implementation, and usability testing across diverse languages and audiences (Strictly Required).
Accessibility Standards & Testing: Practical experience conducting accessibility testing and applying internationally recognized accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 Level AA or higher) (Strictly Required).
Responsive & Cloud Technologies: Solid background in responsive web design, cross-platform media delivery, and cloud hosting platforms (such as Azure Web Services).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Hands-on experience using AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate code deliverables.
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
