Conduct evaluations of internal control systems and financial reporting processes
Perform testing to assess the design and operating efficiency of financial controls
Document and report on the results of control assessments, ensuring compliance with audit standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address control deficiencies and recommend improvements
Monitor and track the progress of remediation efforts
Evaluate the impact of new accounting standards on internal control processes
Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the compliance framework
Qualifications
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years related experience -internal audit experience, or 3 years in public accounting or consulting
Professional Accounting Designation is highly preferred
Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus
Practical experience with SOX testing, particularly with manual control assessments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables
Ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams
