In this role you will manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the business, including forecasting/planning inventory, purchasing, vendor management, inventory review, and order fullfillment. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures, developing and reviewing processes, forecasting supply requirements, managing purchase requests, communicating with global teams, monitoring vendor performance, managing inventory counts and space utilization, overseeing order fulfillment and returns, and contributing to Navision system support. This also includes team management responsibilities such as performance management, training, and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
-Degree or Diploma in Purchasing or a related field and/or procurement experience.
-APICS and CPIM certifications are assets.
-2+ years supervisory or management experience.
-5 years’ experience in Purchasing and Inventory Management.
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Stong leadership experience, leading and mentoring
-Experience with an ERP system (Navision is an asset)
-Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
