Responsibilities
• Execute SAP system management by entering and reconciling inventory transactions for daily issues, transfers, and goods receipts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits, resolving any discrepancies immediately.
• Monitor inventory levels closely to prevent operational downtime caused by material shortages or excessive surpluses.
• Perform goods receipt duties by unloading, inspecting, and processing incoming materials within the Distribution center.
• Reconcile physical deliveries with purchase orders to ensure vendor compliance and data integrity.
• Manage the material flow from storage locations to production lines, ensuring timely delivery of essential components.
• Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize heavy pallets and materials within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to report on stock health and potential supply chain bottlenecks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations within the Manufacturing & logistics environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Inventory Control Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a similar Manufacturing & logistics role.
• Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience in a warehouse setting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a related warehouse management system (WMS).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
• Ability to work the day shift reliably in the Brantford area.
• Strong understanding of inventory control procedures, including goods receipt and material flow tracking.
• Commitment to workplace safety and a clean criminal record check.
