Responsibilities
What the Inventory Coordinator will do:
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies (e.g., Cycle Counting).
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely receipt and distribution of inventory.
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
• Investigate and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast future inventory needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
• Perform tasks in controlled-temperature environments (fridge/freezer) as required for inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
To excel as a Inventory Coordinator, you must possess a strong blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating and resolving inventory variances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a high level of expertise in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Forklift Operator Experienced.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all inventory control tasks.
• Working knowledge of warehouse systems, processes, and procedures.
• Strong willingness to learn new systems and processes specific to inventory management.
