We are currently hiring a Inventory Planner for a well-established manufacturing company in Brantford. This role requires a high attention to detail and extensive experience with Excel. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP/MRP (JDE), previous manufacturing industry experience and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Advantages
• 6 month contract strong likelihood of extension and the possibility to become permanent
• Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
• $24/hour
• Work for a well known company
• Great location off the highway for an easy commute
Responsibilities
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports, including inventory levels.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, accounting and, customer service to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Create Cycle Counts from a set schedule, Enter Cycle data into ERP systems and maintain documentation of the program.
• Allocating parts to job orders and minor vendor planning activities
• Light 3rd party planning and releasing of orders to vendors.
• Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an asset
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a scheduling or planning role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
