Act as a connector/bridge, linking functions and business units (at different levels sometimes

Strategic IS Advice and Support to the Region(s): Partnering with the senior management team
and working closely with the OpCo’s, IS AMER Director and IS team members support the

plans whilst encouraging autonomy and innovation.
Develop Regional IS Strategic Plans including defining solution strategies based on
customer/stakeholder needs and market research, supporting the development of more robust
processes and articulation of opportunities, business development and leading internal efficiency
projects or business opportunities.
Support the IS community across AMER in their delivery of Services to the OpCo’s: Visiting
countries and helping coach and guide OpCo GMs and SME’s on the services IS offer and the value
they can bring in supporting the delivery of the OpCo business plans. Driving a continuous
improvement culture across IS and AMER.
Support the development and maintenance of the Core systems of Record for the Business Unit:
Supporting business improvement initiatives: Active involvement in operational business issues
and customer improvement initiatives to ensure that decisions are optimised to improve
profitability. Monitor overhead spends against budget to identify issues, trends and actions
needed to address. Increase focus on cash flow and working capital metrics and behaviours.
Prepare/review/validate all significant business investment proposals (capex and opex) including
special projects financial support. Provide financial review and validation in respect of significant
commercial opportunities and contracts.

solutions leveraging your functional/system expertise to drive delivery.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Development and leadership of IS in an operating business, able to demonstrate experience of
strategy development and implementation to partner in both traditional and agile/digital
products and services.
Business partnering with a range of stakeholders across OpCo’s including senior management
A strong understanding of business processes with
expertise in a particular business domain e.g. sales, customer service, manufacturing and order
management, financial operations and data/BI.
A broad technical skill set including software applications with the ability to learn new systems
Project and Programme capabilities or Product Management capabilities and experience of

Delivery of Division Wide Governance Models for reliability and scalability, combined with
