Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Work directly with division functional teams to understand needs and develop a
roadmap for delivering enhanced capabilities, new technology and systems.
Responsible for working with division, group, and corporate resources to implement
best practice Infrastructure and security processes and technology.
Actively participate on the division leadership team overseeing the operation and
setting the strategic direction of the business.
Collaborate with business, manufacturing, and global counterparts to align the IT
organization with business strategies, develop annual budgets, and develop strategic
five-year plans.
Lead the team responsible for maintaining systems and processes to keep existing
systems running and meeting performance standards and service levels of the
business. Keep existing systems up to date and secure by upgrading, enhancing, and
patching.
Enhance systems and processes to be SOX compliant, including disaster recovery
plans and vulnerability remediation.
Responsible for recruiting, developing, and maintaining a high performing staff and
divisional IT organization. Lead talent development, succession, and strategic
workforce planning efforts.
Work with corporate IT teams to determine which systems should be division solutions
and which should be enterprise solutions. Develop plans for each and execute.
Source, review and select new technology, data science and AI tools for PCD.
Lead the IT organization to ensure the highest levels of safety, ethics, and quality.
Qualifications
Education/Certification Requirements & Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other closely related discipline required.
Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others typically acquired
through ten or more years of increasing experience and responsibility, including at least
three years leading an IT team or function.
Effective communication, project management and customer service skills.
Prior experience supporting ERP systems is required. SAP experience is a plus.
Prior experience leading IT in a manufacturing environment is required.
Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing and related principles would be
considered an asset.
Ability to travel to other company sites as required.
Summary
