Responsibilities
Discovery and Current State Analysis
• Conduct technical interviews, workshops, and document reviews with health authority teams and service providers.
• Review existing service portfolios, organizational structures, tools, and performance management processes.
• Inventory current services, interfaces, systems, and dependencies.
• Assess integration challenges, risks, and performance bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities for standardization, optimization, and improved interoperability.
Future State Architecture & Integration Design
• Define and document future state service integration models, including service categories and boundaries, service integration and process interfaces, governance and accountability structures, and roles and responsibilities for retained and outsourced functions.
• Illustrate key service flows and handoffs through service blueprints or value stream maps.
• Develop architectural diagrams (e.g., service interaction maps, system interface diagrams, integration workflows).
• Recommend technical standards, APIs, protocols, and governance for integration.
• Support roadmap development for service transformation and integration initiatives.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in IT service architecture design defining end-to-end service models, including service domains, integrations, and dependencies.
• Deep understanding of Service Integration and management (SIAM) principles, multi-provider coordination, and retained organization models.
• Experience mapping complex IT service interactions, workflows, and dependencies.
• Experience aligning service architecture with enterprise architecture standards (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams, service blueprints, and integration models (e.g., UML, BPMN, swimlane diagrams).
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and governance best practices.
• Familiarity with common ITSM and ITOM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Understanding of cloud and on-premises service models, including hybrid environments.
