Responsibilities
• Assess current legacy architecture and produce detailed, cloud-ready “to-be” designs
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide Azure migration strategies and plans
• Design migration architectures, orchestration flows, and runbooks
• Lead end-of-life upgrades and evergreen technical components to supported versions
• Support change management and ensure integrity of cloud migration initiatives
• Provide technical oversight, guidance, and mentorship to delivery teams
• Translate high-level requirements into architecture and roadmap deliverables
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards are embedded into all designs
• Create and present detailed client-facing cloud solution documentation and assets
• Track technical milestones using DevOps and Kanban frameworks
Qualifications
Must Have:
• Hands-on experience designing and executing Azure migration strategies
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, government IT standards, and evergreening cycles
• Proven ability to assess legacy architecture and define modern, cloud-native equivalents
• Experience crafting IaaS/PaaS/SaaS-based cloud roadmaps, architecture, and transformation plans
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding organizations through multi-stage cloud adoption
• Skilled in developing migration runbooks and orchestrated deployment plans
• Track record of producing high-quality documentation and technical stakeholder presentations
Nice to Have:
🔁 Familiarity with cloud automation, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
