Responsibilities
- Ensure all Requests for Change (RFCs) are submitted in the proper format and include the necessary documentation.
- Verify that RFCs originate from authorized individuals, in accordance with predefined responsibility matrices.
- Conduct detailed reviews of Impact Assessments (IAs) for RFCs raised by other internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential impacts on operational systems or infrastructure.
- Coordinate and track RFC and IA activity, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Support change management coordination efforts, including scheduling, documentation reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
- Review and ensure supporting materials such as technical notes, briefing decks, concepts of operations, and related documentation meet change management standards and requirements.
- Provide advice and recommendations to improve change management policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Forecast upcoming change requests and resource needs by analyzing planning documentation and trends.
- Provide remote or in-person assistance to end users navigating change management tools and processes.
- Participate in internal working groups, stakeholder meetings, and related forums as a subject matter expert on change management.
Qualifications
- Valid Secret level security clearance
- Fluently bilingual (ENG/FRE, FRE/ENG)
- Post Secondary Education is preferred
- Recent experience in IT Change Management or IS governance in a complex, enterprise-level environment.
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices, IT topology, application interdependencies, and organizational change policies.
- Experience analyzing and reviewing technical documentation in support of infrastructure or application changes.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support the change management lifecycle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Visio).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Experience using change tracking or ITSM tools to provide input and manage activity.
