Responsibilities
• Execute high-quality MIG and TIG welding procedures across a variety of custom structural materials and production assemblies.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to establish accurate fitting tolerances.
• Set up welding jigs and fixtures, assemble metal components accurately, and perform repetitive welding tasks while upholding strict quality benchmarks.
• Ensure all manufactured parts adhere to daily production plans by following standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Inspect finished welds to verify complete structural integrity and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain assigned welding equipment and work stations in clean, safe, operational condition.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience within a shop environment over the past 3 years.
• Proven capability to read, interpret, and work independently from detailed technical blueprints and drawings.
• CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification or equivalent trade credential is required.
• Thorough understanding of industrial safety protocols, hazard controls, and proper PPE utilization.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in team environments.
