Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Yamaha and Suzuki marine engines
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software (YDIS & SDS)
• Complete engine overhauls, lower unit servicing, and electrical troubleshooting
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and seasonal commissioning/decommissioning
• Perform warranty repairs and prepare accurate technical documentation
• Conduct water testing and final quality inspections
• Train and mentor apprentice technicians
Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience with Yamaha and Suzuki marine engines
• Red Seal Marine Technician or Journeyman certification is preferred
• Factory training certifications preferred
• Strong knowledge of EFI systems, digital controls, CAN-bus systems, fuel systems, and cooling systems
• Ability to independently diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and within a team
