Responsibilities
•Accounts Payable Oversight: Manage end-to-end vendor invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments in coordination with senior leadership
•Sub-ledger Maintenance: Perform regular reconciliations between AP sub-ledgers, vendor statements, and the General Ledger
•Cash & Expense Management: Execute daily reconciliations for credit card and cash transactions; oversee the employee expense reimbursement cycle and address internal inquiries
•Accounts Receivable Support: Conduct daily deposit reconciliations and monitor AR aging reports, providing proactive updates to the Director of Accounting regarding outstanding balances
•Financial Reporting Assistance: Assist in the preparation of monthly AP accruals and provide data entry support for client invoicing
•Period-End Support: Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing cycles by preparing journal entries and performing various reconciliations
Qualifications
•Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
•Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in a corporate accounting environment
•Technical Skills: NetSuite experience is highly advantageous; proficiency in high-volume AP processing (averaging 300+ invoices monthly) and bank reconciliations is required
•Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a collaborative team setting
