Responsibilities
- Perform incident intake, triage, service request fulfillment, and change request assessment/implementation for hosted applications.
- Provide expertise and administration support for middleware technologies such as IBM WebSphere Application Server NDM and Liberty in hosting environments.
- Utilize Urban Code Deploy, Urban Code Velocity, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Ansible to automate deployments and manage containerized applications.
- Utilize middleware monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, ITCAM) and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI) to analyze data, identify trends, and ensure service stability.
- Apply expertise in ITIL Incident and Change Management processes for the full lifecycle management of operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Expertise with IBM WebSphere Application Server NDM and Liberty.
- Experience with Deployment Automation tools, including Urban Code Deploy and Urban Code Velocity.
- Experience with Middleware Monitoring tools such as ITCAM and Dynatrace.
- Experience with Cloud technology, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Strong experience with ITIL Incident Management and ITIL Change Management processes.
- 2+ years of experience with systems administration of Oracle Solaris and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with service management tools like Remedy/eSMT is desirable.
