Responsibilities
- Responsible for understanding, interpreting and supporting compliance with all relevant employment legislative requirements including Health & Safety, Employment Standards, Human Rights, etc.
- Coordinate the performance and attendance management cycle within the client group.
- Provide expertise and support on performance and attendance management concerns through fair and consistent application of appropriate disciplinary procedures and/or legal requirements.
- Attract and secure qualified personnel. Ensure that the recruitment process for hourly and salaried employees is carried out in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Support recruitment for client groups if required. Partnering with TA to ensure following the right processes and procedures.
- Provide new employees with a comprehensive onboarding program to enable a smooth transition into CG.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
- Exposure to labour relations including support in handling grievances, and employee labour relations.
- Ability to work autonomously, engaging support and alignment from HR Manager.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Well-versed in several HR functional competencies and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Keen sense of time management and flexibility.
- A passion for the entire people cycle.
- Excellent grammar, business letter and report writing skills in English.
- A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
