Responsibilities
Conduct Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, which includes uploading charges, distributing statements to tenants, and addressing inquiries.
Perform core accounting tasks like managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, recording deposits, and coding invoices.
Use Yardi to set up new leases, renewals, and assignments.
Update and adjust pre-billed tenant charges in Yardi based on operating expense budgets.
Perform tenant ledger reconciliations.
Create and generate statements in Yardi, making necessary adjustments based on property tax consultant feedback.
Handle various ad-hoc requests from real estate managers and tenants as they arise.
Qualifications
A minimum of 1-2 years of solid experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ideally within a real estate environment (experience in residential rental or strata properties is also considered).
Familiarity with Yardi software is considered a significant plus.
Prior experience with CAM reconciliations and budgeting is preferred but not mandatory.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including strong knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and SUMIFS.
An adaptable and versatile working style with a keen eye for detail.
A self-motivated individual who can take ownership of a portfolio and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
