Responsibilities
Application Development: Translate technical specifications into working code by writing C# .NET and client-side scripts within MS Visual Studio 2017/2022.
System Sustainment: Support release and infrastructure activities, including urgent sustainment priorities and time-sensitive upgrades for various platforms.
Database Management: Develop applications that interface with Oracle 19c databases, writing and optimizing PL/SQL for data storage and retrieval.
Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough unit testing and work closely with QA specialists to identify the source of defects and implement resolutions.
DevOps Integration: Utilize MS Azure DevOps with GIT version control and manage YAML pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.
Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all web interfaces are compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and WCAG AA standards.
Documentation & Transfer: Maintain detailed documentation of code changes and conduct final knowledge transfer sessions with designated staff.
Qualifications
Technical Core: 2+ years of experience in C# .NET Framework 4.8+ and MS Visual Studio.
Frontend Expertise: Proficient in Angular (v17), TypeScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, and HTML5/CSS3.
Database Skills: Strong working knowledge of Oracle 19c and PL/SQL.
Version Control: Demonstrated experience with GIT and Azure DevOps.
Compliance Knowledge: Practical understanding of AODA and WCAG AA web development requirements.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to diagnose application issues and remediate performance bottlenecks.
