Position Title: Kitchen Cook Team Member
Wage Range: $18.48 – $22.07 per hour (Start at $18.48/hr during your training. Once you are fully trained and validated in the cooking process, your rate increases to $22.07/hr!)
Schedule: Part-Time Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays only)
Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
You will be responsible for following complex recipes, operating HMI-controlled kettles, and performing critical quality tests (pH, Bostwick) to ensure every batch is perfect. This is one of our most skilled roles. You’ll gain experience with industrial pumps, emulsifiers, and digital control systems in a high-standards food safety environment.

Responsibilities
Careful and safe handling of raw materials
Adherance to all GMP’s, with regular training to improve knowledge and understanding
Follow HACCP guidelines, and company policies and procedures to meet our food safety & quality
standards
Read and follow recipes and SOPs exactly, recording "Actual" outputs and monitoring kettle weights at every stage.
Use HMI screens to control kettles, water flow, and tomato presses. Safely assemble and disassemble pumps (PD, Graco) and emulsifiers.
Perform online testing for CCPs, including pH and Bostwick tests; immediately flag any deviations to the Shift Leader.
Gather batched ingredients from coolers/warehouses, check lot codes and labels, and ensure correct FIFO rotation.
Adhere strictly to HACCP, GMPs, and CCP requirements. Ensure all documentation is accurately completed for traceability.
Operate the Buggy Washer and perform thorough station sanitization and recipe changeovers to prevent allergen cross-contamination.
Coordinate the flow of product with the Batching and SP rooms to ensure seamless production and provide detailed shift handovers.
Qualifications
Methodical Mindset: You must be able to follow multi-step written directions and manufacturing best practices with 100% accuracy.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortable operating HMI (touch-screen) control panels and performing basic scientific testing (pH).
Attention to Detail: Crucial for monitoring kettle weights, ingredient labels, and quality specifications.
Physical Stamina: Able to walk, stand, and bend while handling ingredients and using knives or powered equipment.
Reliability: Punctual, safety-conscious, and a collaborative team player who contributes to a positive company culture.
Communication: Proficient in spoken and written English for documentation and team coordination.
