Responsibilities
Consult & Scope: Act as a learning consultant to uncover performance needs, recommend solutions, and manage stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organization.
Agile Development: Support projects by iteratively assessing needs and delivering high-quality learning assets in two-week increments.
Design & Create: Develop engaging, interactive blended learning solutions (e-Learning, virtual instructor-led, and self-led materials) that align with brand standards and diversity principles.
Accessibility Integration: Ensure all assets are fully accessible, following WCAG 2.1 guidelines and testing via screen readers (JAWS) and keyboard navigation.
Subject Matter Expertise: Partner with SMEs to capture technical knowledge and translate it into clear, simplified language for various learner profiles.
Risk Management: Maintain a culture of risk control, ensuring all learning solutions protect the interests of the organization while meeting strict deadlines.
Qualifications
Extensive Experience: 10+ years of dedicated experience in Instructional Design and Development.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency with the Articulate 360 suite and MS Office (PowerPoint & Word) is required.
Accessibility Expertise: Proven experience designing and testing fully accessible solutions (WCAG 2.1) using JAWS or similar tools.
Consulting Skills: Strong ability to synthesize complex data and communicate theoretical concepts to stakeholders.
Portfolio Requirement: A digital portfolio or work samples demonstrating e-learning development and accessible design is required for consideration (links preferred; no Google Drive access).
Educational Assets: A degree or certification in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or Human Performance Technology is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills: Experience within the financial services industry and proficiency in Vyond or Adobe Acrobat (interactive PDFs) are significant advantages.
