This well-known large warehouse in Hamilton strives for innovation and optimal logistic processes to meet customer demands. Their continual drive for optimal delivery starts with their growing warehouse team and extensive training process for new employees. This company is fantastic and is looking for a team lead who will grow with them and develop into other roles.
Advantages
Sunday - Friday 9:30PM - 6:00AM
$26.81
Occasional Team lead for 2-3 employees when supervisor is away
Safely unload inbound shipments and transfer products to designated storage areas.
Stack and store merchandise efficiently in the appropriate locations.
Responsibilities
Assist in supervising team members and supporting daily operations
Ensure timely and accurate completion of departmental tasks
Coordinate and confirm shipping carriers
Perform order picking, auditing, wrapping, and shipping as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Participate in departmental planning and operations meetings
Communicate with customers in a professional manner when required
Qualifications
Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in supervising or training staff is an asset
Able to work with a sense of urgency and solve problems effectively
Valid forklift certification required
