We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to drive the successful end-to-end execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects. As a Project Management Professional, you will play a central role in transforming the organization's retail training landscape. Your primary focus will be leading the planning, execution, and delivery of various learning solutions—from in-person workshops to eLearning and webinars. You will ensure project objectives align with business priorities, managing schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholders effectively within a structured governance framework. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with potential for extension and conversion, located in Toronto, Ontario, requiring four days a week on-site.

Responsibilities
Lead the comprehensive, end-to-end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and on budget.
Develop a clear understanding of the overall program movement and rationalize how assigned projects align with long-term business priorities.
Apply robust governance controls, actively identify, manage, and resolve project risks and issues, and conduct project retrospectives.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective communication and engagement strategies for internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Coordinate with L&D partners and business units to support the development of delivery, change, launch, and maintenance plans for learning solutions.
Oversee the vendor selection and onboarding process when third-party learning solutions are required.
Provide regular project progress reports and updates to project teams and key business stakeholders.
Stay informed on emerging trends in project management, including Agile and hybrid methodologies, and contribute to advancing best practices within the broader project management community.
Qualifications
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in Project Management, with a preference for experience gained within a Learning & Development or adult training environment.
Industry Knowledge: Proven work experience within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance industries.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise with project management tools, including MS Project and the broader MS Office Suite.
Project Scope: Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects of medium-to-high complexity.
Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent ability to manage multiple stakeholders, build relationships, and tailor communications effectively.
