We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as Learning Coordinator role. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager learning and Development, and will provide expert guidance on events, budgeting, and logistical planning to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will excel at balancing multiple learning programs simultaneously and delivering high-quality learning events that align with organizational goals.
This role is a hybrid position supporting the Markham location.

Responsibilities
Managing delegate registration platforms including LMS, Kiosk etc.
Co-ordinating travel and accommodation
Managing all delegate joining instructions
Managing onsite event logistics
Leverage relationships with all the key functions
Deliver all events in a cost-effective manner and continually seek to achieve cost savings
Registration signs up through learning management system
Session coordination and set up
Post-event feedback is considered with the planning of future events
Reporting and Data
In class set up and virtual technical Teams support during session
Leverage relationships with all the key functions to support event delivery both Canada and the UK partners
Collaborate with external vendors (Food, hotel, transportation) and work alongside procured suppliers to deliver the event
Qualifications
Proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional event experiences
Strong relationship building with internal partners and vendors
The ability to react quickly and be flexible to changing demands
Proficiency in event management software and digital communication tools
The ability to multi-task, managing several programs at a time, knowing how to prioritize and manage time effectively
The ability to identify risks to event delivery and able to alert stakeholders to these
Post secondary education in or equivalent experience in event management, marketing, communications, learning and development
Minimum 3+ years in event planning, project management or related roles
