This position begins as a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of transitioning into permanent full-time positions depending on your performance. As a Leasing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day leasing operations and maintaining excellent tenant relationships. Responsibilities
- Assist Leasing Coordinators, Leasing Manager, and Maintenance Manager with day-to-day leasing operations
- Prepare & maintain detailed records for leases, tenant welcome packages, assignments, lease amendments, and correspondence
- Audit tenant ledgers regularly for accuracy
- Follow up with tenant arrears & assist with collections as appropriate
- Update monthly preauthorized debit changes to Tenants' accounts
- Prepare daily, weekly & monthly notices regarding rent, renewals, and other tenant communications
- Perform data entry tasks related to lease administration & maintain organized filing systems
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Spectra or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry & Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
