Advantages
•$20-$24 an hour
• 1-2 Months Full Time Contract
•Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30m 1 unpaid hour lunch

Responsibilities
•Litigation files and court matters
•Serving and uploading documents to the court
•Diarizing
•Affidavits
•Computer systems related to the court
• Provide comprehensive legal, administrative, and clerical support to the unit, ensuring all work is prioritized and completed in a timely fashion.
Qualifications
Paralegal Diploma, Diploma in a legal secretarial program, or certificate in law from a recognized college.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an administrative legal support position, preferably in a family law practice.
• Successful completion of Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario courses is an asset.
• Respectful and compassionate demeanor with a commitment to anti-oppressive and anti-racist philosophy.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license and acceptable driver's abstract (if driving is required).
• Must be bondable with an acceptable police clearance and satisfactory provincial records search.
• Ability to work in person at the Hamilton office location.
•Experience in family law and court matters
