- Provide essential legal administrative support to the firm and its legal professionals.
- Communicate professionally with clients and other legal entities.
- Efficiently manage and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the office through various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a recognized Legal Assistant program
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Legal Assistant or Clerk
- The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities
- Proven ability to thrive in a busy work environment and manage a heavy workload
- Solid tech-savviness, including a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite ( specifically Excel), and other software such as Clio, PCLaw, Time Matters, LEAP Legal Software, CosmoLex, PracticePanther, and Filevine
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well with minimal supervision
