Responsibilities
Responsibilities
As a Production Assembler within this advanced manufacturing facility, you will be entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities. Your primary function will be to contribute to a seamless production workflow, ensuring that all products are assembled to exact specifications. Your day-to-day duties will be diverse and engaging, requiring precision and a commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities of the Assembler include:

Assembling various components or parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a dedicated workstation or on a conveyor line.

Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, and production diagrams to ensure accurate assembly procedures.

Operating hand tools, power tools, and other production equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Performing meticulous quality control checks on assembled products to identify any defects and ensure they meet strict quality standards.

Packaging finished products securely and preparing them for shipment, ensuring all labeling is correct.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.

Rotating through different tasks within the production process as required to support the team and meet operational goals.

Performing other general labour duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the manufacturing & logistics team.

Recording production and quality data accurately to assist with tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Assembler who meets the following qualifications. These requirements are essential to ensure you can perform the job safely and effectively while contributing positively to the team.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Prior experience working as an Assembler or in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

The ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required by the job duties.

The resilience to work effectively in a work environment that can become hot.

A fantastic attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to being a reliable team member.

Your own pair of CSA-approved safety shoes, which are mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).

The ability to reliably commute to the facility in Brantford, Ontario for every scheduled shift.
