In this high-impact linguistic role, you will produce intentional, impactful French (Canada) content across a wide variety of external and internal channels. You will play a central role in quality control, leading the proofreading and transcreation phases for major digital initiatives, learning and leadership materials, packaging, labels, and urgent communications. Working alongside the global localization team, you will help maintain brand consistency across style guides, translation memories, and glossaries, while evaluating vendor and AI-generated translations to ensure cultural nuance and local market resonance.

Responsibilities
Content Transcreation & Translation: Produce intentional, culturally resonant French (Canada) content for external digital channels, media releases, internal communications, training materials, and digital advertising.
Quality Assurance & Proofreading: Play a key lead role in the proofreading phase for major localization projects, including digital platforms, learning materials, packaging, and product labels.
Linguistic Asset Management: Contribute to the continuous maintenance and curation of style guides, translation memories (TMs), and terminology glossaries.
Vendor & AI Quality Governance: Assess vendor and AI-assisted translations, providing constructive feedback to the Localization Lead to optimize machine-translation quality and consistency.
Urgent Business Support: Support immediate, high-priority localization needs and media-sensitive content with rapid turnaround times.
Qualifications
Linguistic Expertise: Native-level fluency in French (Canada) paired with professional-level command of written and spoken English.
Professional Experience: 5+ years of hands-on translation, localization, and creative copywriting experience supporting enterprise brands.
Cultural Nuance: Deep, demonstrated understanding of French Canadian cultural nuances, regional terminology, and linguistic trends.
Localization Tooling: Proficient with enterprise localization technologies, including Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.
Organization & Time Management: Exceptional time-management and multitasking abilities to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Basic working knowledge of HTML, TXML, and digital web assets.
