Material Handling & Yard Operations
Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts (including 30' tubular handling) and overhead cranes.

• Shrink wrapping pallets and attaching delivery notes to pallets prior to shipping.
• Loading and unloading trucks with forklift outside facility.
• Receiving raw bar stock.
• Managing and organizing stock material in yard and shop.
• Empty chip hoppers as required into the proper container.
• Learn how to run basic machine shop equipment such as a saw and shot peen machine.
• Inventory Control (receiving ,managing and issue to BOM)
• Receive customer supplied tools , visual inspection and entering in ERP system
• Receiving Purchase orders.
• Closing Work orders and preparing delivery ticket and shipping documents.

• Misc. housekeeping and safety duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• 2+ years production experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• SAP Beas ERP system knowledge is an asset
• Prior experience in forklift, overhead crane operations and material handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing process equipment, overhead cranes, power hand tools preferred.
• Ability to maintain primary job duties with little supervision.
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of basic computer skills,and have the ability to perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Prior experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and power hand tools.
ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP Beas ERP systems is considered a significant asset.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with basic computer literacy.
Self-Management: Ability to maintain primary duties with minimal supervision while adhering to all safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Physical/Schedule: Flexibility to work overtime as needed and ability to perform physical tasks in a shop/yard environment.
Pre-employment: Must be able to pass a standard drug test.
