Responsibilities
Coordinate and Monitor Logistics Operations
Plan and track shipments of finished products to meet customer requirements.
Coordinate with carriers to arrange timely pickups and deliveries.
Track and monitor all shipments, promptly addressing any delays or issues.
Support both internal and external movement of goods as needed.
Manage Shipping and Documentation
Prepare and process outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
Inspect and document outbound shipments, creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) as necessary.
Upload BOLs and corresponding photos to SharePoint.
Prepare and process necessary shipping and export documentation.
Verify shipment details for accuracy in quantities, destinations, and items.
Generate and manage shipping documents such as packing lists and shipping labels.
Maintain Inventory and Communication
Keep accurate records of finished product inventory and storage.
Update and communicate delivery schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
Communicate loading priorities and detailed shipping schedules to operators in advance.
Use logistics IT systems to optimize procedures and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
A certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software like ERP systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with little supervision.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate factory equipment.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
