Location: Northwest Edmonton (transit accessible)
Shift: Thursday to Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wage: $21/hour + 4% vacation pay
Advantages
- Full-time position with a competitive wage of $21 /hr + 4% vacation pay
- Rotational day and night 12 hours shift
- Contractual job with the possibility of a permanent role.
- Optional benefits are available through Randstad from your first payday
- Weekly pay via direct deposit through Randstad
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Health and Safety: Follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures. Report any safety concerns or forklift faults immediately.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring they are clean and free of damage. Conduct visual inspections of all products and report any defects.
Inventory & Quality Control: Accurately label, package, and store finished goods following the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system. Inspect and return pallets for reuse.
Logistics & Communication: Move goods with a forklift, fill out all required paperwork, and communicate with your team leader and delivery drivers.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be able to work with others and give directions as required
• Perform routine tasks, while remaining alert and flexible
• Work steadily in a fast-paced environment
• Assist the team in all areas as needed
• Able to lift 15kg overhead
• Certified Forklift operator/experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to work in a Hot and Cold Environment
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions in English
